Shelter Food and Needs
Food is one of our largest expenses, right up there with medical bills. We rescue all breeds and all sizes but we typically get in large breed dogs with large appetites. At any given time, we can have over 70 dogs in our facility and with fosters, this includes puppies and pregnant moms. Pregnant moms, new moms and puppies require a large calorie intake including formula. Your donatiion to our food is always needed and appreciated.
Pedigree Dog fooa - Wet and Dry kibble (all sizes of kibble) we even use Weight control
Purina kitten chow - dry and Friskies Pate - canned
Dog treats - No raw hide please!
Canned or dry Pumpkin or peanut butter (peanut butter without xylitol)
Kitten or Puppy Formula
Other items that we use daily:
Non-clumping fragrance-free litter
Bleach, Laundry soap, sponges, paper towels
Litter boxes
Toys - Kongs are especially great because we can fill them with treats
No tennis balls Please! (They clog our drains)
